Founder

Solitha Shortte is a fashion industry entrepreneur, creative director, model coach, and production leader originally from the Caribbean, now based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She has over a decade of professional experience as an international fashion model, runway coach, and production coordinator.

She has produced and founded local and international shows, including Halifax Fashion Week events and showcases aiming to elevate diverse designers and talent. Through her work, she actively promotes diversity and inclusion in fashion — challenging traditional standards of beauty and expanding opportunities for underrepresented creatives in fashion and film industry.

Soli Productions/Coaching Inc. started in March 2015 and established in 2018 our company specializes in Runway Productions, Brand Promotion and Talent couching. Under the leadership and expertise of Owner and Creative Director Solitha Shortte; who has decades of experience as model and acting coach, runway production coordinator. We’re changing the narrative in the industry by taking a new approach Fashion and film scene, emphasizing the need for more diversity in our celebration and promotion of beauty and talent standards.

We provide our clients with a wide selection of professionally trained models to promote their brands. We celebrate beauty and talent across the spectrum, offering models and actors a safe space to develop their skills through our group/ individual training sessions. The goal is to instill confidence in aspiring models and actors as they pursue their dreams of becoming professionals fields across industries.
